Hiii, hello! It’s Thursday on a Friday again and I’M SO SORRY. Hopefully things will calm down a bit and I can actually get ahead soon.
Anyway, we’ve reached episode 20 of season 2, aka the one where Phoebe finds out all the movies she grew up thinking had happy endings had very not happy ones,1 meanwhile Rachel holds Ben like a football and Ross has named their future kids. Oh, and Joey & Chandler think Richard is their dad. Or something.
I know we talk about Monica in red a lot, but it’s by far the dominant color in her palette, and the color played a prominent role in her outfit choices for this episode.
I noticed that in one of her first scenes, her burgundy is actually matching Ben’s pants, which I thought was cute! If I could I would match with my nephew all the time, thank you very much.
Later, she trades in her slacks for jeans and the burgundy top to a brighter red. I could read into this and say it’s because she was hanging out with Richard so her her wardrobe was a little brighter…. but who knows!
A Note
LISTEN I know this one was short & sweet, (calm down, Sabrina) but at first I didn’t know what to write about for this episode and then when I figured it out I didn’t know how quickly it would end. LOL. Anyway thanks for sticking with me, as always! As we’re winding down season two I’ll be playing with formats + posts- trying to let this be the summer of creativity!

I've never seen Old Yeller and I never, under any circumstances, will. I’ve been scarred by dog movies one too many times (we had to read/ watch Where the Red Fern Grows in 5th grade and I will never forgive them for that)
Four years I watched The Sound of Music with my mom and because it was so long airing on TV, we had to go to bed before the last hour was done. It always ended with Rolf’s betrayal and then nothing. I was so shocked when I finally saw the ending.
Do you think the costumers might have just been lazy in this season, like their only notes for Monica are, “wears red”?💕
